United Nations Association of Ethiopia (UNA-ET)
The United Nations Association-Ethiopia, is non-governmental organization that works to enhance the relationship between the people of Ethiopia and the United Nations, to raise public awareness of the UN and its work and to promote the general goals of the UN.
United Nations Association of Ethiopia (UNA-ET) endeavors to inform, inspire and engage all Ethiopian regarding the work, goals, objectives, and activities of the United Nations. It intends to increase interest and raise awareness for current events in foreign and development policy, cultural and world economic policy as well as international relations and developments in general.
UNA-ET long-term concerns comprise:
- The implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),
- Peace, security and disarmament,
- Human rights and humanitarian affairs
- Eradicating poverty and hunger
UNA-ET is part of the global network of UNAs currently operating more than 100 countries around the world.
The World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) is an international organization that represents and coordinates a membership of all UNAs.


Vision
A future where the United Nations is more effective because more Ethiopians are engaged global citizens, dedicated to achieving the purpose of the United Nation.
